Cookie Policy
Last updated August 1, 2026
VoltaraNews uses a small number of cookies — primarily to keep authorized operators signed in to the newsroom. Public reading does not require cookies for core access.
02How VoltaraNews uses cookies
We keep cookie use minimal. Today, cookies on VoltaraNews are used primarily for essential newsroom authentication—not for advertising profiles.
- Essential — newsroom session:
voltara_sessionstores a signed session token so authorized operators remain signed in to the admin newsroom. It is marked secure on HTTPS deployments and is not required for public reading. - Functional preferences: Your browser may store local preferences related to the interface; we do not use these for cross-site advertising.
03What we do not use (currently)
We do not currently set third-party advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or analytics cookies that profile you across other websites. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, request consent.
04Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert you when cookies are set). Blocking essential session cookies will prevent newsroom sign-in but should not stop you from reading public articles.
