Terms of Service

Last updated August 1, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using VoltaraNews. They explain what the Service provides, how aggregated content is treated, and the limits of our liability.

01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VoltaraNews (the “Service”), including our websites, feeds, and related pages. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

02What the Service provides

VoltaraNews is a news reading destination that aggregates publicly available stories from third-party RSS sources and may also publish original articles created by our newsroom. Aggregated articles generally preserve the publisher’s original timestamp and include a link back to the source (“View original”).

We do not claim ownership of third-party articles. Aggregation is provided for informational and convenience purposes and may not include every story a source publishes.

03Accounts and newsroom access

Public browsing of VoltaraNews does not require an account. Access to the administrative newsroom (publishing, feed management, branding, and sync tools) is restricted to authorized operators and protected by authentication credentials. You must not attempt to access the newsroom without authorization.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content in a manner that burdens the Service or infringes third-party rights
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its security, or related infrastructure
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us
  • Remove or obscure source attribution, copyright notices, or “View original” links

05Intellectual property

The VoltaraNews name, mark, layout, original editorial content, and site design are owned by us or our licensors. Third-party headlines, articles, images, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Aggregation does not transfer any license beyond what applicable law and the source’s own terms already permit for users who visit the original publication.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, contact contact@voltaranews.org with a description of the work, the URL on our site, and your contact information. We will review good-faith notices and may remove or delist material where appropriate.

06Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Aggregated content may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors introduced by sources or by automated extraction. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party material. Always verify important information with the original publisher.

07Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoltaraNews and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any content made available through it.

08Third-party sites

Links to original publishers and other external sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of those sites is at your own risk and subject to their policies.

09Suspension and termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service (including newsroom access) if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, if required by law, or if needed to protect the Service or other users.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes that cannot be resolved informally, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
